AMDA Nepal - Community oriented activities in Kathmandu

 

AMDA-Nepal is proud to own it’s Central Office Complex. The land was donated by the local government,

a place which is in the outer end of the capital city. The two-story building has been constructed through the  grant from Tsuyama Rotary Club, Japan. The ground floor is used for public benefits and the upper floors for office use.

Since November 1999, AMDA-Nepal Shimazu Dental clinic has also been set up in this building to provide

the dental care to the people of this area. The chair and some equipment for this clinic was provided by

Dr. Shimazu, a Dental Surgeon from Japan.

 

In addition, Adult Literacy program is going on and a total of 24 trainees benefited in this program. 
Currently 24 trainees are undergoing the course.
