Behavior Change Interventions for the Prevention and control of HIV/AIDS/STDs among the Populations at High Risk in Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, Saptari and Siraha Districts.

 

Goal:             To reduce the rate of sexual transmission of HIV/AIDS/STDs in above Districts

 

OBJECTIVES:

 To change the unsafe sexual behavior of target group in above Districts.

To raise the awareness in general population.

 

Starting Date: 11th October 1999

 

AREA:       Along the National High Way of Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, Saptari and Siraha Districts.

Industrial Workers

Migrants

Police/Army

Campus Students

Rickshaw Pullers

Others

 

Secondary Target Group

Husbands of Female Sex Workers

Wives of Clients of Female Sex Workers

Women at self risk
