Planning and decision making process in AMDA Nepal

  

The planning and decision-making process is guided by the following three documented rules and regulations of the organization:-

1)
Constitution of AMDA-Nepal,
2)
Staff Regulation of AMDA-Nepal,
3)
Financial Regulations of AMDA-Nepal


The plans and/or problems from the field sites or projects are submitted to the President/ Gen. Secretary of AMDA-Nepal, through the respective coordinators at central office. The policy issues and plans are decided by the executive committee meeting. In addition, the Field Directors and Coordinators report the activities and the problems faced by their projects each week during the regular executive meeting.
The General Assembly meeting (participated by all full members of the organization) is the supreme body of the organization. This meeting is held every six months. The reports of all the activities are submitted to this forum and discussed in connection with the success or failures in order to find out ways for better performance in the future. In addition, the regulations and policy matters are also decided or endorsed by the assembly.
